Information on redemption fee
Dear Guests,
As per Government Decree 450/2023. (X. 4.), from 1 January 2024 on, almost all
ready-to-drink and concentrated beverage products, of which containers are made
of plastic, metal or glass, within the range of 0.1 and 3.0 litres are included in the DRS
scheme. Major part of the containers are single use products, that becomes waste
after consumption, that may become raw material for container producers after
proper collection and pre-treatment.
Within the DRS scheme the consumer pays HUF 50 redemption fee after the bevera-
ge packaging at purchase, which amount will be on your hotel receipt as ’visszavál-
tási díj’. The amount is repaid when the empty bottle (with readable GTIN and intact
form) is returned to a manual or automated take-back point.
